Manager with seventeen years of experience in the financial industry. Joined Visa in 2019. Combining experience from the consulting and banking industries, at Visa he is responsible for the area of consulting and data services for clients from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary in areas such as strategy, products, portfolio management, risk and digital activities.
Before joining Visa, he worked at Deloitte, where he dealt with strategic and operational consulting for financial institutions, and before that in retail and corporate banking. During his career, he managed products for corporate clients at ING Bank and Bank BPH, at BOΕ he led a team responsible for transaction banking products, while at Santander Bank he was responsible for developing and implementing initiatives in the field of private banking and open banking for individual and business clients. While working in consulting, he was responsible for strategic projects regarding the development and digital transformation for banks and non-banking institutions in such areas as mergers of companies, data management and payments (mobile, digital wallets, fintech and value added services).
Thanks to the combination of specialist knowledge in the field of payment services consulting and a wide range of data, he manages the consulting and analysis department at Visa, which is able to formulate valuable knowledge and recommendations that are the basis for making better business decisions for the organization’s partners.
Szymon is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (major: Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems) and has completed numerous additional trainings in the field of projects and process optimization (Prince2 and PMP, Black belt lean six sigma).
